Formaldehyde is an important industrial chemical intermediate widely used in resin, adhesive, wood-panel, textile and chemical manufacturing applications.
Wood & Panel Industry
Used in the manufacture of formaldehyde-based resins and adhesives for plywood, MDF and particleboard.
Resin & Adhesive Manufacturing
Used as a raw material in the production of urea-formaldehyde, melamine-formaldehyde and phenolic resins.
Textile Industry
Used in selected textile finishing and resin-treatment processes.
